Death

Death, I’ve found, can come in many ways. Death can come in as death- absolute, and everlasting in nature. It can enter as invisibility, where people cannot see you anymore, like you’re already a ghost to their visions, as if all the light just passes through all that mass or does not shine at all. It can also exist due to extra existence, where one person lies in too many lives to be alive in his own. Such men do not see it coming, and are always too late in figuring it out.
This kind of a death, though not absolute, can be everlasting, like a mime who forgets to speak after his act.

Turmoil ofemotions

There is a turmoil of emotions inside of you,
sometimes happy,
sometimes sad
but mostly just apologetic for the things that you have failed to do for others,
like you may have failed to be the perfect daughter,
or the scoring student.
Maybe you failed to love your lover
or kissed the wrong woman.
Maybe you are not what others wanted you to be
and you feel both scared and sorry under the pressure.
At such moments that pass us by,
remember a hurricane,
because that is what you need to be;
high pressure on the outside,
and calm on the insides.
Not everyone is meant to be the doctor the neighbors wanted,
like Einstein was not the Engineer his father wanted,
and nor was Van Gogh.
Not everyone is meant to play magic on the stage.
Some are meant to discover it.
